Requesting Payments with no friction at all
This is the OG CIP-13 standard for creating simple ADA transactions using the //web+cardano URI scheme without a dedicated authority. One link, recipient address and optional ADA amount. Click/scan the link, the wallet app opens with the prefilled data, sign & submit and you are done. Easy.
Note: CIP-157 will introduce a more advanced payment link standard under the //pay authority and add support for multiple assets and optional metadata in transactions.
How to build the link
Classic CIP-13 payment URIs use the web+cardano: scheme followed immediately by a Bech32 payment address (no // authority segment). Optionally append ?amount= with a decimal ADA amount.
General shape: web+cardano:<address>[?amount=<ada>].
