CIP-99 standardizes a QR/click-friendly claim flow for onboarding users (especially at IRL events) without “paper wallets”. It defines a new //claim authority with a versioned path: /v1 and required query params: faucet_url and code. Wallets decode the URI and POST the user address + params to the faucet server, with clear status handling for success or errors.

Of cause this isn't limited to onboarding new users, you can use it for any kind of claim flow you want to simplify. As this is dependend on a faucet server doing the actual work, you can even restrict your airdrops to a whitelist or other mandatory requirements.
